ATO Consultative Meeting with African stakeholders in December 2005 to support victims produced The Banjul COMMUNIQUÉ, adopted by ECOWAS.

May 2006, ATO Secretariat inaugurated Africa Inter-Agency Network with the Gambia Cycling Association, Hotel and Tourism Association, Gambia Police Force, The Gambia National Assembly and Nordic Baltic Task Force, Against Trafficking, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

September 2006, at the World Bank, Washington D.C. conducted fact- finding seminar with Ambassadors to the United States from Destination and Transit countries.

April 2007, 1st Annual Sub-Sahara Summit, Against Research on Illegal Migration and Human Trafficking as a Development Issue was accepted, posted as contribution to the Rabat / EU conference web site in Morocco 10– 11 July 2006. Trafficking & Illegal Migration.

June 2007, presented to the Mexican Senate, “Best Practices to Combat Human Trafficking.”

October 2007 Meeting with the United Kingdom Human Trafficking Centre Sheffield, UK to discuss Memorandum of Understanding and partnership to improve cooperation, awarness and build capacity to combat human trafficking in Sub–sahara Africa.
